How to Pair Galaxy Buds to Laptop
Most people when they think of using Galaxy Buds always think of smartphones. While Galaxy Buds are indeed known for working smoothly with all types of smartphones be it Samsung devices, other non-Samsung Android devices and iOS devices, it’s also very much possible to pair the earbuds with your laptop.
When you pair your Galaxy Buds to your laptop, you enjoy the same comfort and convenience that the earbuds bring when connected to smartphones. This, therefore, means you can use the earbuds to listen to music/media on your laptop. Essentially, this means even when you are doing something else on your laptop or even away from it, you will be entertained throughout. In the same vein, you can also use the Galaxy Buds to command your laptop to perform specific tasks for you such as making video calls and the like!
The thing to note is that before you start benefiting from the comfort and convenience which Galaxy Buds bring, you need to pair them with your laptop. This is actually a simple process which you can do on your own. There is no need to seek the services of a tech expert! All that you need is to follow the steps outlined below.
Steps to Pair Galaxy Buds to a Windows Laptop
- For a set of new Galaxy Buds, all you need to do to put the Galaxy Buds in pairing mode is to pen the charging case while in close proximity to the laptop you want to connect to. If you are using Galaxy Buds you have used before on another laptop or smartphone, you need to properly tuck the earbuds in your ears first. Once done, simultaneously hold the sensors on the earbuds until you hear a chime (beeping sound). The beeping sound indicates that the earbuds have entered pairing mode
- Using the laptop’s search button, search for the ‘Devices’ menu. For Windows devices, you find the menu under ‘Settings’
- Proceed to select the ‘Bluetooth & Other Devices’ option
- Click the ‘Add Bluetooth or Other Device’ button. If you have placed your Galaxy Buds in close proximity to the laptop, they will appear on the list of available Bluetooth devices
