Smartphones nowadays are more of an extension of our brains. Smartphones through their various features and tools allow us to keep track of the most important things in our life. It’s now almost impossible to miss important stuff such as your wedding anniversary, work meeting or even that once-in-a-lifetime job interview. This is necessitated by the fact that you can simply use your device to act as a reminder tool. Once the time and date for that important event arrives, you receive a notification on your device.

Well, it’s not always the case that your device notifies you of important stuff. At times, your device just like the human mind can forget some things. However, if you see that this is a challenge which has engulfed your device, you can simply rectify it by resetting the VIP filter settings.

VIP Filter settings refer to your device settings which allow the phone to notify you of all-important updates. Whether it’s notifications from phone calls, messages, social media apps or other apps which you may have installed on your device, the VIP Filter allows you to stay in the loop.

If for some reason the VIP Filter fails its job to notify you of important updates, you can simply reset all settings such that the process starts from a clean slate. The steps you need to take in resetting the VIP Filter settings are as follows:
